Have you heard about the powers of Acai yet?

It's one of my favorite superfoods because it’s an incredibly anti-oxidant rich food with a lot of wonderful health benefits.

It's anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and I bet you didn't know that it contains more antioxidants than any other berry. Acai also contains omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids to regulate hormone production and cell regeneration. Last but not least Acai contains a wide variety of minerals essential for the natural detox of your body’s cells and impressive amounts of fiber to help your body cleanse naturally.  Even better? It's delicious too!

Pina Colada Turmeric Smoothie

I absolutely love the delightful recipe below - it's one of my new favorite post workout smoothies and it will make your skin glow.  🙂

It contains Turmeric which is a great source of curcumin that is an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant - so it's an excellent ingredient to fight aging, trapped fat, and disease.

Turmeric actually exhibits over 150 potentially therapeutic activities, including anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial activity, as well as potent anti-cancer properties that have been intensely studied.
Like all of my anti-aging and fat-burning smoothies - I drink this after my workout to boost my metabolism, flush my body of toxins that trap fat, and to prevent age accelerating inflammation for glowing skin.  🙂
