Slow Cooker Chicken Breast with Figs and Squash Recipe :-)

A slow cooker is a wonderful tool to prepare meals of protein and vegetables with very little labor. Most slow cooker recipes simply require that you chop and gather all of the ingredients into the slow cooker in the morning, and then the food cooks all day while you are away.

The chicken and squash in this recipe turn out deliciously moist and flavorful and follow's the 4 P's. 🙂

Healthy Dessert Hack – Red Velvet Cupcakes!

I'm making these for Sweet Sunday tomorrow!

It's my new recipe hack to make red velvet cupcakes healthy and still yummy.

Did you know in the days before “red” was an ingredient, red velvet cupcakes were actually made with real FOOD that was red – namely, beets?

In the case of these cupcakes, the beets make them incredibly moist and give a delicious flavor.

I have two recipes below for the frosting the first one is paleo - dairy free and the 2nd is a primal recipe with dairy.

Enjoy!

Yummy Christmas Dessert

I have a Yummy Dessert Recipe below that is made with unprocessed sugars - a pretty treat and great for the holidays!

However, did you know that most treats are made with processed and refined sugars? We’ve been eating more and more processed sugar over the past 200 years, which has led to rising obesity numbers. Back in 1822 the average person ate only 6.3 lbs of sugar per year, compared to 130 lbs of sugar in 2012. That’s more than 20 times as much sugar in our modern diet. Yikes!

One of the reasons that the modern diet is filled with so much sugar is that refined sugar is included in virtually every single processed food. This is another reason it’s important to cut out those processed and packaged convenience foods from your diet.

Believe me, I know reducing sugar in your diet can be difficult.

But here are 7 Ways To Eat Less of that Sugar that’s stalling your results in anti-aging and weight loss.
